TRUMER Schutzbauten GmbH is an Austrian family enterprise specialized in development, design and production of natural hazards protection systems at latest technical standards. The company was established in 1991 and is known worldwide for its highest demand on quality aspects, innovative solutions and sustainability of its protection systems. Trumer Schutzbauten offers solutions for protection from natural hazards like: rockfall, instable slopes, shallow landslides, debris flows, bank erosion and snow avalanches. With the establishment of a worldwide unique test and development facility at “Erzberg” (open pit mine, Austria) in the year 2000, the foundation for trend-setting developments in the area of protective structures was laid. Full scale tests of protective structures and individual components are the basis of Trumer´s product development to respond to local challenges.
