RHEWUM company will present the screening machines and vibrating feeders at the MiningWorld Central Asia exhibition in Astana

RHEWUM have been developing and manufacturing screening machines and vibrating feeders since the beginning of the 1950’s. These cover the entire field of dry and wet screens for a vast variety of applications for leading companies worldwide. Optical sorting is the logical extension of our activities for the future of our company.

In addition to the durable unbalanced motors that are normally used at RHEWUM, the company now offers two special series. These two series were especially optimized for use in their respective fields. The first one is a high frequency drive (type HF) that can be operated with a power frequency of 100 Hz instead of 50 Hz or 60 Hz whereas the other is a long-life drive (type LL) that has a significantly higher service life than common unbalanced motors.

With the special design, now patent-pending, the drives and bearings “keep a cool head”. In comparison to other drives, the RHEWUM long-life motors have a reduced temperature of up to 10 degrees Celsius by contrast with the environment. What is the benefit? A lower temperature of the bearing automatically increases its service life which has also a positive effect on the life cycle of the entire drive. Due to the use of usual RHEWUM foot dimensions, the RHEWUM long-life drives are absolutely equivalent to their counterparts.

Scientific research proves that a screening frequency adjusted to the screen cut can significantly increase the screening efficiency. When separating extremely fine particles, high screening frequencies are very beneficial. With our new series HF, we are now able to boost the screening frequency to 100 Hz. This high screening frequency with simultaneously adapted amplitude allows us to reach higher screening capacities when sieving particles that are finer than 200 µm. These drives are also compatible to our standard motors.

We look forward to welcome you at our booth A87 hall A and advise you on screening of coal, ores, slags, minerals and further areas of mining.
