The development of Kazakhstan’s economy today is unthinkable without international business cooperation, implying not only the flow of foreign investments, but also the transfer of the latest technologies, learning world experience. And in this respect strengthening of economic ties with the leading industrial powers plays an invaluable role.
Thus, the Department for International Trade of the British Embassy will present the mechanisms for cooperation in the mining sector in the framework of Industrialization 4.0. The British companies successfully work in Kazakhstan and invest in the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, providing advanced technology and developing the experience and skills of their employees.
The South African Embassy will hold a presentation of the mining equipment companies, which will be attended by the Ambassador of the South African Embassy to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Keitumetsi Seipelo Thandeka Matthews.
We would like to remind that last year the main topics of the talks between the representatives of the Republic of South Africa and the Republic of Kazakhstan in the framework of the exhibition’s business program were the prospects for partnership between the two countries in the mining and metallurgical industry, as well as the increase in minerals extracted in South Africa and attracting investors.
In addition, the business program will include the meeting of the Mining Club, the main task of which is to develop professional relations and expand business contacts among mining specialists, to discuss hot topics in an informal atmosphere and exchange experience between companies in the development and management of mining operations.
Another significant event in the upcoming exhibition is the presentation of the World Mining Congress (WMC), which will be held in Astana from 19 to 22 June 2018 and located at the site of EXPO-2017. Along with WMC, MiningWorld Central Asia is changing its location next year and will deploy its exposition within the Congress.
