Geobrugg engineering protection technologies are used in quarries and mining enterprises to ensure the safety of mining operations, protect key infrastructure, quarry equipment and personnel.

Within the framework of the Mining and Metals Central Asia exhibition, Geobrugg specialists will hold a number of meetings and demonstrations of structures based on high-strength steel wire: nets for strengthening ledges and sides of quarries, rockfall barriers, barriers to protect against target flows, barriers to protect against avalanches, as well as for use as part of dynamic anchor support in mines.

DELTAX and QUAROX grids are used as anti-rockfall curtains and structures to strengthen unstable ledges in places where rockfall phenomena occur, associated, for example, with changes in slope geometry, weathering and retreat of berm brows, weakened tectonic faults and other phenomena that often have a local distribution and are not taken into account in the quarry project.

The TECCO slope reinforcement system provides maximum protection in the most important and/or dangerous areas. It is also used in key areas with an increase in the overall steepness of the side of the quarry.

The specialists will also demonstrate a free software package for the design of RUVOLUM slope reinforcement systems and answer questions of interest.
